RULES

Pro Division:

1. Each team must consist of two players (18 years of age or older).
2. The boards are 27 feet apart; 33 feet hole to hole.
3. Partners stand on the opposite side of the board away from each other. There should be one person on each side of the cornhole board.
4. Players alternate turns until both players have thrown 4 bags each. The player from the team that scored last will throw first each round.
5. The bag does not count as a point if the bag hits the ground before landing on the board. The bag must be lying freely on the board to count as a point. Any part of the bag cannot be touching the ground.
6. Each bag that lands on the board is worth one point. Each bag that goes into the hole is worth three points.
7. If the bags that go through the hole begin to stack up on one another and prevent bags to fall through the hole, you may clear out the bags underneath the hole.
8. Points cancel each other out throughout the game. (Example: If Player 1 has two bags on the board, and Player 2 has one bag on the board, then Player 1 gets one point.)
9. Players cannot step beyond the front of the board on the throw. If a player crosses the line in front of the board, the throw is disqualified. If the disqualified bag knocks other bag(s) off the board, then the affected bags will be replaced on the board as they were prior to the throw.
10. The first team to score 21 points after a complete rotation will win the match, and advance. Teams will keep their own scores.
11. One practice round per team is allowed prior to official scoring.
12. Festival contest is single elimination.
13. Of the 50% of the entry fees, the winning team will receive 75%. Second place will receive 25%.
14. Tour stop 1st Place winners will be placed in the WBDC Tournament of Champions Championship. First place teams can enter other WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions Tour Pro sites in 2015. Placement for WBDC Tournament of Champions Championship will pass to second place team, and so on if teams are already seeded in Championship. 1st Place still wins the money and trophies.
15. Players will receive 1 point for entering, 3rd and 4th place teams will receive 5 points, and 10 points go to the runner up. (Winners automatically advance) 16. In addition to all of the automatic qualifiers, there will also be a spot reserved in the championship round for the 2 teams that lead in the ‘points standings’ but have not already qualified. If they aren’t able to make it, the next highest in points will have the opportunity to take the spots instead, so on and so forth.
